The way it works....

Simplicity is key

I regard myself as part of your team, and as such I can be contacted directly via phone, Whatsapp or email without any intermediary, helping resolve difficult case decisions quickly, and arranging surgery with minimal delay, if needed.
I arrive at the practice at the arranged time, perform the procedure, write notes on your practice's own management system including post operative instructions, and call the owner as appropriate per case. I bring all surgical instruments and implants. The practice needs to provide only the general anaesthesia, medications, suture material and a qualified nurse (RVN).

Contact about a case

Solutions  are usually needed there and then, so anytime a vet in your practice has a case either to discuss and/or to arrange surgery, just email and/or whatsapp me with xrays and a brief description of the case. I will answer and discuss if needed, and arrange a day and time for surgery if indicated. Notes, CT results and xrays can be emailed over.
You as the practice should regard me as part of your team so communication is direct and personal, which is essential for speedy decision making and for minimal delays in treatment.

Client communication and post-operative care

Communication with the client before and after surgery is very important in order to properly manage client expectations and satisfaction, and I aim to be closely and directly involved in this, together and in alignment with the vet at the practice dealing with the case.
Complications, even though fortunately uncommon, are an integral risk of any surgical procedure, and they need to be managed both professionally and vis-a-vis the client, and this is an integral part of the service I provide.
